Well coordinate body is perfect of unified. Socially, Spiritually and Politically everyone has the same beliefs and is making things flow smoothly and becoming productive. They are Unified for the creation of the the colony. Everyone has their own skill or job and they are all working together as one body to build their colony.

"New" meaning better England they are bringing components from England and adding better ideas and new ways they like better. They put in new "England" because they are not completely starting new, they are creating England the way they want it.

Colonists are separating themselves from England so their church and they people don't have to go through the king it its "between god and us." God granted them this land and permission for colony and to grow (side note: Freedom as a colony or "body" but not freedom as an individual.

Because they are "New England" (the colony in the new world) people are watching them and looking up to them. They are trying to be known as the best colony creating other colonies to strive to be as "perfect" as them. Saying they are on top of the hill can refer to lots of interpretations. For example, they may want to be closer to god cause they are on a hill, they were role-models.
