I used JSTOR to research some articles on Bacon's Rebellion
* Bacon's Rebellion
* The William and Mary Quarterly, Vol. 9, No. 1 (Jul., 1900), pp. 1-10
* Published by: Omohundro Institute of Early American History and Culture
* Stable URL: http://www.jstor.org/stable/1914836
Bacon's Rebellion page 3
Talks about men, women, and children being shot and killed, with few if any surviving.Talks about Mrs. Bacon and shows a letter she wrote to her sister. Talks about the Indians killing their cattle and crop and bacon requested to defend himself and it was denied which is in the process of the rebellion along with other issues.
I did not prefer using JSTOR for finding information on the Rebellion but perhaps it would be more useful for other information i may research.
