Continental Congress
The First Continental Congress teaches us not only about PSEC but any group or community on how to be united. Federal Way High School being its own community was not united or represented equally as does the First Continental Congress does. Here at PSEC the Advisory Council consists of two staff members, four senior representatives and four junior representatives. This units the community in a equal representive way. Just as did the First Continental Congress did with two electives for each colony, and they even had one was in agreement with the British so that the Congress were not get to radical. I think until PSEC has an Advisory Council and we are more exposed to the governering process there is nothing to be changed to better improve it. Until a situation or issue comes about were I as the individual or even in a collective group would need to see fit a solution or effective improvement on our governing process. Gerda Lerner's view on history and historic interpretation complicates the governering process because every situation is different. The Advisory Council will not be able to solve every issue with the same solution, each one has its own circumstances and its own consequences.
